    I made the Amboyna Minister Billiard as a precise, classical platform for the Minister tank. The Straight Billiard silhouette is a familiar and restrained form that lets the wood do the talking: rich Amboyna burl with bird‑eye texture, ribboned waves and rosette clusters that give the bowl a topographic, three‑dimensional depth. The natural finish is polished to highlight the grain while keeping a satin, tactile feel.

    This electronic pipe is built around a single practical purpose: an exact fit for the Centenary Mods Minister MTL Nano (Minister tank only; 2 cm diameter). The shank carries a subtle black beauty ring beneath the tank and an engraved maker’s logo, details I use to balance form and function without distraction. The stem is black acrylic and the firing button is briar — choices that match the piece visually and by touch.

    Notes on use and care

The satin polish will respond well to occasional soft cloth wiping to maintain its three‑dimensional figure and bird‑eye highlights.

    This custom pipe mod is crafted from high-quality Ash wood, with the outer surface heavily rusticated and stained black, giving it a striking appearance reminiscent of coal.
